Arrow Paint Protection & Turtle Wax.

My car already had paint protection done about a week ago but I've discovered some scratches when I was drying my car. So I'm planning to apply some Turtle Wax this weekend to cover up the spots. Will the wax affect the paint protection?

Thanks.

Define "paint protection". I'm not sure what you mean when you say you had paint protection done a week ago....

It was a new car and the dealer has already put on paint protection...I've no idea what kind though, probably a cheap kind...

So am I safe to apply Turtle Wax now?

if you're talking about diamondkote or similar products, its probably safe. if a wax job will remove the protection, i doubt the protection will really protect your car. if you're concerned call your dealer, they'll know

Ummmm, yeah, highly unlikely. After they sold him the $500 "paint protection" I'm sure just thye just used some crappy wax and pass that off to him as "protection". Yes, it's fine to use whatever you're going to use.
