Box scratched my paint...WTH?

I had a stack of empty boxes next to my Sienna and the wind blew them over and one hit the door and left a bunch of scratches in the pait...

I didn't know the paint was that fragile...

The van is dark green and the scratches are white color and not deep at all. Some of them came out when I rubbed my finger over them, but others stayed.

Will a bit of polish and my PC get those out? I only have Klasse twins, will those work or I need a polish like this: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-430.html

I've never used Klasse AIO, but my understanding is that it's more of a chemical cleaner/polish rather than an abrasive cleaner polish. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try it, but you may need a little bit of abrasiveness.

If what you have on the paint is white, it may just be a residue that the boxes left. AIO may or may not remove it. If that doesn't work then I'd step up to something abrasive. If you want to try something off the shelf, Meguiars ScratchX frequently works very well for me on things like that. You can get it cheap at Wal-Mart and it can be used by hand or by PC.

I don't know anything about those products, but you can always try what you have -- you've got nothing to lose -- start mild and work your way up.

I normally start addressing such problems by grabbing my Carnauba Cleaner Wax, and if that didn't work, I'd try the Mothers Scratch Remover (highly rated by a leading consumer magazine if that means anything).

A buffer and light polish will fix it.

I haven't had a chance to work on it yet.
