Zaino

Not to sound like a Zaino zombie. I had used it in the past and it performs better than anything else I ever used. I went through the process this weekend and I am pleased with the results on my black truck yet again. I know from prior use that the stuff lasts a long time 4-5 months...and the new z-cs stuff says up to 9 months protection all when reasonably maintained. (detail enhancer and regular washes ect.) I know that subsequent applications are easier and less time consuming as well. My question is about other (synthetic or not) products that are out there that work as well preferably better and last as long that I might not know about that I could try.

my process if anyone is interested was:
Wash with dawn...dry with leaf blower
Clay...dry with leaf blower
z-5
z-6
z-2
z-6
z-cs
z-6

took me about 4 hours on Saturday afternoon.

Just tryin to start up some conversation....thanks to all replies!

I haven't personally used Zaino yet, but I have recently purchased Z2pro, ZFx, z6, z8 after hearing MANY good things about zaino. If you do a search on Autopia.com for Zaino, you will find that many agree it's one of the best product lines out there. I'm glad that you brought this topic up as I'm going to use the Zaino products very soon.

thanks for the reply. I haven't tried the z8 stuff yet. I can tell you that the z-cs stuff made my paint really really smooth to the touch. It was hazy in spots....probably cuz it was on too thick. I was easily able to wipe it off though. Hope it goes well for you. What color is your truck?

Millenium Silver metallic. I'm not sure how shinny it will get. I see pics from darker color cars and i LOVE the shined up dark colored paint. Lighter colored cars aren't that cool, so i'm hoping for more durability than anything else.
