beyond Repair?

I have Dick Cepek DC-1 wheels. And they have little white spots and darker (rust?) spots. Its un-noticable from 10 feet but i dont like it. Eagle One and Mothers polish dont cut it. What can I do? How much does Re-polishing cost? and who does that sort of thing? thanks

It depends a lot on what finish you have -- chrome, painted or polished.

If you have polished and if you've tried a PowerBall Mini with PowerMetal or Mag & Aluminum Polish and that doesn't cut it, you've likely you've got pitting which is beyond what a polish is capable of.

A photo would help.

But you'll want to look for a wheel refinisher. Google "wheel refinishing" and "wheel repair" and similar terms, or ask a wheel shop or a body shop.

Refinishing or polishing or re-chroming runs about $100/wheel, give or take, not including mounting might be more on an intricate design.
