Red Smudge from other vehicle - How do I get it off?

I've got an '08 Tacoma DB Speedway Blue, and I just noticed a small red smudge, probably from a vehicle parked next to mine, about the size of half of a dime. How do I remove it? I just got the car waxed and the red smudge is still there.

I have had great results using the wax below, but it does take a bit of elbow grease, since it is not as aggressive as rubbing or polishing compound. I have used it to work out scratches, and to remove minor overspray.

Try using a clay bar first and then some polish and follow it up with wax to protect it.

I've had good luck removing paint tranfers like that with Meguiars ScratchX.

You can get it at Wal Mart.

I haven't had any success in removing car-to-car paint transfers with clay.

Mothers Scratch Remover is what I had to use last time, but definitely try Cleaner Wax first if you have it.

If you do use Scratch Remover, be sure to wax the area afterwards.
