Best final product for silver streak

After I polish and apply several coats of Klasse SG, I usually put a topper of P21S carnuba for the best shine and depth I can get. Silver just doesn't achieve the same depth as darker colors, however.

Anyone have a recommendation for a final product that goes beyond all the others and makes a silver streak micah look richer and deeper than the rest?

I also have a silver streak and I use wolfgang sealant mixed with polycharger. I garage my truck and it lasts for about 9 months like new and another 3 months looking okay. I usually use a mist and wipe (pinnacle) for that 3 month period to give a little extra shine. The depth on the silver won't be like a dark blue/black/red but the wet shine look is unbeatable. I now tape of the bed liner as it's not very easy to get the sealant out of the textured plastic - learned the hard way. Back to black and some baking soda got it out. I seal the windows now too. It makes washing the truck easier too.

Did you use the baking soda and water to scrub the plastic, then the Back to Black? I have to clean all the white gunk off my plastic as well.

I still have to put one more coat of Klasse SG down, then the P21S to see if I improve the luster.

I am wondering of any of those newer sprays are as revolutionary as they claim. Sonus has an Acrylic Spritz and an Acrylic Glanz. Not sure what the difference is...Then there's the Four Star Ultimate Finishing Polish, and there's Maguire's Ultimate Quick Detailing Spray, Maguire's Final Inspection...they all claim to be revolutionary.

Oh, someone recommended this Optimum Opti-Seal...anyone know anything about it?

http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-seal.html

Is there any one of these final products that is absolutely the shit, especially for a silver streak? Is any one of them some kind of quantum leap, way more than just a detailing spray?

Or maybe there is some topper I car use other than carnuba, on top of the Klasse SG, that is to die for?

I mixed the baking soda with the back to black. I suppose you can do it however I am not even sure why I did it that way. After I got out all the old wax off the textured plastic I used a plastic shine product (couldn't tell you which one as I have many) and it worked. There's a product call wax-blaster that is supposed to work. It didn't and I wasted a few dollars there.

I tried carnuba over the wolfgang/polycharger and it didn't do anything extra for me. When I do the annual sealing of the truck it is a 2 day process.
Wash with dawn to remove old wax and assist in stripping wax
clay
wash with dawn again
light swirl remover except on the noticeable scratches (then heavy)
gloss enhancer (for the slick look)
sealant w/ polycharger

It takes me about 20 hours total work. I'd show you a picture if I knew how to do those types of things. I am sure you get her detailed in the same manner.

I know a lot of people think that polycharger is gimmicky and it may possibly be. I have never had a vehicle stay looking so nice for so long and look fresh from a nice wash and drying than I have with the polycharger mixed in. I know they are selling it in products premixed but I have it in the old-school droppers that you have to mix with product.

I'm in banking so I'm not trying to sell you anything. Keeping the cars nice is just a hobby.

I do a similar process. I washed, clay-bar, polished scuffs with a Porter Cable random orbit polisher and a heavier cutting polish (Sonus SFX-1) and then a full polishing with Sonus SFX-3, the fine finishing polish, then several coats of Klasse SG. I am putting my last coat of Klasse today, and a carnuba topper.

Similar process, but different products, and I've never used a polycharger. I may try that.

P21S is pretty rich and oily. It's hard to get much glossier than P21S without spending big bucks. If you're paint is clean and polished before waxing, then you're doing about all you can do. You can try a zillion different products trying to get a deeper shine, but you'll never be to get the deep reflection that dark paints can get.

It's time to trade in the Silver for a Black or dark blue truck.

^Yeah, and maybe a double cab....

Well, for some reason the detailing looks a little flatter this time, even though I did a full polish with Sonus SFX and the PC. I will say the paint surface is as smooth as a baby's bottom, though. Granted the P21S isn't on there yet, so it will probably get to where I want it. I'll be doing that this afternoon since I put my third coat of SG on yesterday.

I skipped the Klasse AIO since I polished already, and went straight to the Klasse SG. I am wondering if the AIO wold have given a little more luster underneath the SG?

Also, PB, I remember you mentioned some spray product to me last year or two years ago that was a new product and you thought it was an advancement over detail sprays. Was it the Sonus spritz or something else? What are you pimping these days?

Thanks for all your help, man. You are a great resource to this forum and to a lot of people.

If I was just going to use one or the other I would use AIO instead of SG. It's no big deal though.

I was probably talking about Four Star, Ultimate Paint Protection Spray, boosted with Poly Charger. It's good stuff, but I have found that it only stays fresh for about 6 months when you boost it. So make small batches. I made a big gallon jug of it. LOL
After about 7 months it didn't work as good. It would leave some streaks and stuff.

Right now I'm just using Adam's Detail spray. It has good slickness and depth. I buy it in gallon jugs and use it as detail spray and clay lube, and use it on wheels and plastic. It's pretty versatile. I usually water it down a little too. Maybe 3/4 detail spray, 1/4 water.
