KIT Carnauba Car Wax

I found this wax in my garage. I'm guessing it's 10 or so years old, back when my dad bought our Mini-Van and actually cared.

Is it any good? I read the directions on back and it says it's not recommended for use on flat black paint. How can they make wax that can't be applied to black paint? -_-

I'll take a shot at this:

Sometimes matte black surfaces are not smooth. After the liquid wax spreads into the depressed areas, you will be unable to remove the wax once it hazes over. Using a towel, you will only be able to remove the wax from the higher areas. What you are left with is a black surface with white spots all over.
