Doublin' up on wax...carnuba and synthetic?

I've always heard a lot of people say carnuba wax is great for getting really deep color out of the paint, and I've also seen that synthetic wax gives a really high gloss shine and is supposed to last longer as well.

So, do all ya'll think putting down a coat of carnuba and then a coat of synthetic on top would give you a bit of the best of both worlds? I'm skeptical but interested in what you guys have to say.

Carnuba should always be your last step or else the other waxes won't stay on as well as carnuba does.

So do you think putting syn. on first and carnuba for a second coat would give you better protection than two coats of one type?

I say either or. Synth will give you a bit longer lasting protection, but carnuba will give you a better shine, so it's sort of a give and take.

Hmm...ya you're probably right. A lot of people say two coats of wax doesn't make a difference anyway.
