Gen6 Using Porter Cable 7424 new pics added...

I am no stranger to detailing my own cars and have for a long time. I have and old buffer that I have been using for 20 years. So I had decided to upgrade to the Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action random orbit polisher and
to Lake country buffing and polishing pads. I bought this online from www.
autogeek.com. I received the products just 3 days after purchasing them.
And can't wait to use these products on Saturday. Here are some pics.

I use the Mcguiar's Clay Bar kit. Their 105 and 205 for removing any kind of scratches and swirls and then I used the Liquid Glass products which is a synthetic polymer polish. Since my car is a new 2009 I do not have any paint damage , such as oxidation, or deep scratches so I will not have to use any of the deep cutting pads like the Lake country orange pad etc.

I plan on claying the car then polishing it up. I'll post up pics this weekend.

Not too bad, I bought it from Autogeek for 169.99 for everything. They had a package deal sale. The polisher alone goes for 149.00. I used
$100.00 of my birthday money to get this. So since I like to do this as a hobby and to keep a 24,000 dollar car nice... Its worth it to me and something that will last a long time. I can't wait to use this
