Scratches on Dash....wtf?

Hey all. I have been trying to figure this out for a while but after searching...got nowhere.

I got a new car within the last year (09 camry) and about 5 months in, did a thorough detailing of the interior...long story short I bought armor-all wipes for the dash, which ive never had any issue with in the past.

I Wiped everything down and got to the passenger side dash and wiped left to right about 5-6 times and afterwads looked at it and it was scratched bad. by scratched I mean it looked like the wipes took the paint/black coloring off (faded to grey/white) the dash in the spots I wiped in a zig-zag pattern...

needless to say I was super pissed...so I went out and got some interior reconditioning solution and wiped it all down a few times...no improvement. tried again a few days later...still bad.

just wondering if there is a way to either make these less noticable...or what they use to paint the dash in the first place so I can have it redone? i dunno...any ideas would help...

Thanks TN crew! *salute*
