Touch Paint

My 08 Sienna got a minor scratch in one side were the paint completely came of, the color is Blizzard Pearl. I purchased a touch up paint on-line it was code 071, but it looks like all it is, is the Pearl part of the paint, because is like an almost transparent paint with some white on it, it looks like an egg white. Am I missing something here, is there suppose to be a base paint. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

i got a white camry and had to buy touch up paint as well

i got mine from the toyota dealer and after applying 3 times (half hour between each)... i thought the results were pretty good

... but now when i go to look at it, that white just doesn't look like the same white on my car

i think other touch up paint companies sell several things like base coat..primer.. etc

( sorry i couldnt really help, i wanted to vent about my exp)

Double check- I'm pretty sure the code for Blizzard Pearl is 070, not 071. 071 is Arctic Frost Pearl.
