USA Sratched Factory Wheels

I'm trying to find a product to remove some scratches in my '08 Highlander factory wheels. I recently took it in for a tire rotation and balancing and the dealer scratched and scuffed up the wheels. I want to find a product that will be safe to use on the clear coated machined aluminum spokes and painted inserts. Can someone please recommend which product would be best. I'm wondering if I can safely use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound? I'm a little reluctant to use one of the metal wheel polishes on the market, even though some state you can use it on clear coated wheels. Since the wheels are clear coated, would I just treat the scratches the same way I would on a painted portion of the vehicle? Thanks for any assistance!

Well, to me get, the garage to fix the damage. Compound will only help so much. The finish is a clear coat. Not all are just clear coat but a finish with clear on top. You will have to use several grades of compound, and lots of elbow grease. You have compound curves not a flat surface.

They messed it they fix it.

Best bet, get them stripped and powder coated.

It is all relative to scratches. But if it was a tire change I think they went right down to the aluminum. An you just cannot buff that out. It is a big fix item
