APPLY QUICK DETAIL SPRAY (i use smartdetail) AFTER WASHING WHILE DRYING TO RESTORE PREMIUM GLOSS (and it works perfect!)

This is usually a tip to help with drying the car for a spot free finish. Another QD that works well is Meguiars Ultimate Detail since it adds more hydrophobic properties to the surface. I tend to enjoy using Optimum Instant Detailer for its added gloss. It creates a warm glow that you normally see with a quality carnauba wax

Not all QD's will restore to a premium gloss. Most are merely a spray and wipe off for dust, tar, bird poop, etc. However, if you do get quality QD's then they will restore that gloss, shine, warmth.

I prefer -

Clear Kote Quik Shine

or

Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer too

#2 - for superior streak free windows, spray product sparingly on to window, work over entire surface then with a second towel buff away.

^ Or use a quality MF towel and fold into quarters and then you don't have to use another towel.

^ prob with that sometimes the towel will stay damped so you are wetting the surface again... but yes you can.

Never had a problem doing windows using quality Cobra MF's which are plush or their waffle weave!

Lol, I'm starting to see who is a detailer who knows what they're doing on this site now. So far, I see 3

Heres my contribution: Don't put a thick layer of Collinite 476 on and do not let it sit too long

DETAILING TIP OF THE WEEK #3 - Always use lubricant or Smartdetail spray to clay, because soap will break down or deteroate the clay. When using lubricant or Smartdetail it will prolong clay life by conditioning the clay.

Dude, enough w/ pimping SmartDetail, I know you use that user name in another forum. You pimp that one more time without being a vendor and your threads will be deleted and you get a temp ban.

edit: Your user name is SmartWax on Toyotaownersclub.com and you've been posting the same stuff there, Jeff.
