I was talking with the guy that sells Perma-Seal at the auto show and he had told me about this. It's called Bulletproof.

They have a wipe-on formula you wipe onto the windshield and it will allow the windshield to take an impact with a less likely broken windshield for an end result. Bulletproof posted a test they did where they applied it on a windshield and shot a .177 BB pellet at about 300 FPS@5 feet away without the windhshield breaking.

They also have paint sealant which they say would protect the paint from even chips from road debris.

Thought I share this, the price is very expensive. $30 for 2-12oz I think. But if it works, would it be worth it...

Any wax or sealant (synthetic wax) will HELP protect the paint from the elements, but NO wax or sealant is going to stop paint chips. If it could, every auto maker would absolutely be using it.

Sounds like a high-pressure sales pitch with ourtageous claims. Smile, and walk away.

Unless several people can say they've used this stuff and it works I'm gonna go with "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is".
