Interior Seat scratch marks (any fixes?)

I drive a lot of people... everywhere... and the interior plastic kind of takes a beating I've noticed.

the scratch marks are from people kicking it and I got a few more scratches that are pretty visible on the plastic by the door handles as well

rubbin it just makes it more noticeable

Edit- pics

side note- I pulled off a lot of the shavings that resulted from the dings but now they look discolored
another note- pics were taken during the late evening and I haven't taken pics in the sunlight yet...few more areas with scratches/dings I want to post later on

Which model of Toyota are you talking about? (IMO, it makes a difference, some are better and some are worse with plastic scratches). I'd be interested to see you pics...there may be a couple of remedies.

well... I'm sure there's no real way with fixing the discoloration and long scratch marks in several places

what I'm going to do is use some leftover Armor-All wipes and go over them after cleaning the area.... it'll make the spots darker and blend in with the plastic well

You could try to find some paint that matched that and spray it. Vaseline might be a easier short term fix though

Those look more like chips on hard plastic so I doubt that there is much that can be done.

I would skip the armor-all. It doesn't really do much except leave a greasy residue.

In terms of the vinyl on the seatbacks, you can try using some vinyl conditioner and rub it in with a microfiber cloth.

They sure don't build the interiors as well as they used to....

I made the mistake of using rubbing compound on my door sills by the driver's side and passenger side.... it removed the heavy motor oil stain.... but damaged the hell out of the plastic... looked like it was cracking and fading very fast

I used some simple green + followed up by armor all and it made the door sills look new.... which is probably because of all the greasy oily residue from the wipes

vaseline eh? hmm that's a thought lol

Sadly no cheap fix besides replacing.

As you know its all molded. But you could always roll down the windows, at 100mph with your hair on fire. An trust me you will never notice the damage -

Sorry to see the damage. It irritates me as well

Have a good day friend.
