Washing, clay barring, waxing???

This may be a dumb question but where I live it's snowing 4-6 months of the year.. So how do you guys/girls in similar climates with snow/sand/salt, wash clay bar and wax your cars when it's snowing or -30 outside?

As I just recently bought my 2011 Corolla I want to keep it in pristine condition for as long as I own it.

Let me know.

You freeze lol I don't live in that cold of climate but during the winter I do what I can to keep the salt especially off. I hate automatic car washes just because of the micro marring they do to your finish. I would go to one of the do it your self car washes with the high pressure hoses and spray it off when you can. That should at least help to keep most of the salt off. If you can take the cold I would spray it with the soap option and use your own micro fiber sponge/mitt to wash the car. If you have a garage just clay bar and wax it in there. BUT if its -30 out I couldn't do any of that and I would either A)spray it off the best I could B)suck it up and go to an automatic car wash or C) do nothing. I hope this helped at least a little, thats what I do it winter. Good luck!
