Cleaning Leather Seats

I have a 2009 Toyota Camry SE 4 Cyliner with the Sport Package on it. I have the perforated leather liquid cell seats that looks like it has tiny pin holes in it. It has gotten dirty and I need to know what to clean it with so i won't ruin it! Soapy water just doesn't cut it! What would you recommend!! Thanks!!

If you mean the little pin holes are filled with dirt...you could try a shop vac with the soft brush attachment to clean them....

No not the pin holes just the seat in general, it looks almost like its stained (lightly) from my child putting his dirty hands and feet all in my seats!

Hmm, a good leather cleaner and conditioner would do the trick. Meguairs has a nice set...one bottle for cleaner and one for a conditioner.

As kaashifv said, Megs has a good set- another thing to consider is the Meg's leather conditioner gel- it's clear, so it won't plug the perforated holes with white residue after the product is absorbed.

Another thing you can try is a wet magic eraser, with light circular pressure. They are abrasive, but I've been using them for years with customer ok, to detail dirty leather and interior panels.

My 2000 Explorer seats:

Before on the right 1/2, after on the left half, immediately after cleaning:

What came off:

After they dry (stitching will whiten up), apply 2-3 layers of conditioner, and they feel amazing. Keep them conditioned weekly...

Armor All is good for a quick clean. Just get a nice microfiber rag from your local auto store and spray it on rag.

Don't use Armor All on your leather seats, or any interior surface. Try Lexol cleaner then top it with Lexol conditioner. Meguiars also has good products for leather care too. Mother's also has good leather cleaning products, as does Pinnacle.

Hell, why stop with the seats, don't use ArmorAll on anything for that matter. That stuff just plain sucks. I've heard great things about Lexol though.

I've had great success with Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner. Worked a lot better than the cheaper products that I tried. If you also have a leather steering wheel and/or leather gear knob, don't forget to clean those too . You'd be surprised with how much dirt comes off them.
