Thumbs up Mothers Carnauba Wash & Wax

Washed up for the second time this season because I had plans to head out on a massive all day cruise/meet with about 25-30 other cars. This time tho, I used the all in one Mothers Carnauba Wash & Wax instead of my regular paste wax regimen. I hate washing my car so I'd been wanting to try this stuff since I first heard about it and this seemed like a perfect opportunity for two reasons; 1. I already had a good wax base on the car and 2. it was hotter than hell and I didn't want to commit to a half days work in the scorching sun.

The result... I am totally blown away! I'm all about the Carnauba Wash & Wax. This stuff is now my go to regular wash product. Using the Mothers Lambswool Wash Mitt and Wheel Brush it only took me 20min to fill the bucket then soap/scrub/rinse twice and about 5min to mist and dry with the Mothers Ultra-Soft Drying Towel.
While I am a bit indifferent to the mitt and brush (they're great products and definitely nice-to-haves that I'm glad I have but not 100% necessary if you're on a budget) I was, however, very surprised by how well the Drying Towel worked. I've used different types of chamois over the years and always hated the drying process, almost more so than washing. This thing made a difference. Kinda like a cloth/foam squeegee of sorts. I will definitely buy another when this one bites the dust.

Pics below.

Cool, waiting for the pics

I used to hate drying as well. Kent (PB) advised me once to use my leaf blower, it works great...

Thanks man.

Yeah the bugs are nuts. I got swarmed by cicadas while edging my lawn this afternoon. Creepy beady-eyed little fcukers.

IIRC, he sold his truck and moved on in life.

Thanks! I'm blown away by how well its held up. I'd liken it to a drive thru car wash wax job. Obviously, the better your base wax job and the more frequently you wash using the all in one stuff the better the final result. Mine had very little paste wax base left.
I'm sure if you used a quick detailer spray between washes it'd look even better.
