i wash it as soon as dust settles on it. Usually just spraying it down at the coin wash since my water leaves spots. If once a weak is anal, then im as messed up as rainman.

I usually wash my truck Once a week..and I use Instant Detailers on it after every time I drive it. Also my truck hardly ever leaves the garage since its just my toy.
I also wax it usually once a month..or if i am really bored on a sat I will strip the old wax and then Glaze it and wax it over again
I dust my truck every day with a car duster, instant spray waxs once a week and periodically use wash wipes when needed. I detail the whole truck and put a coat wax once a month. Parking my truck in the garage helps keep it clean longer. I'm thinking of getting a truck cover when I do have it parked outside. Would I be considered anal?
I wash mine when ever it gets dirty, once or twice a week. I have had mine since june 8 and have waxed it 3 times. This truck makes me want to keep it clean!!!

I picked mine up on July 6, washed and waxed every weekend. Obsessive Compulsive
I wash mine a couple times a week, maybe more if it needs it. If the water is beading up on your truck after you wash it then there is still wax on there. No need to re-wax if the water is still beading nicely. If you want to restore the shine use a good quick-detailing spray like Mothers Showtime, or Mothers FX Spray Wax, or Meguiars Final Inspection Spray. As the wax wears down, the water beads will become bigger in area, but not as tall and round. Once it doesn't bead up evenly on the hood then it's time to re-wax.
BTW, don't use dish washing soap when you wash your truck, unless you want to strip your wax off. Dawn is usually the best at stripping wax.
I've had my Taco since January and, on average, I wash every 2 weeks. I try to wax it at least once a month.
I've found the Mother back to Black is awesome on the black side mirrors and the thin black trim and on the black pads on my DeeZee side steps.
I used to use Mother's Carnuba wax but I hated the mess of removing it and how hard it gets so I just tried Mother's synthetic blend and it's NICE. It goes on smooth and is so easy to buff off. (I don't have an electric buffer) I can't tell the shine's difference from carnuba wax so I'm going to see how long the water beads. (With wax, it only lasted 3-4 weeks.)

Generally, Synthetic wax lasts longer than carnauba, but on dark colored paints it doesn't have the depth and warmth of Carnauba (if you want to be picky about it). It's hard to explain. You kind of have to see it to understand. Synthetic is more shiney, while carnauba has more depth and detail.
Synthetic wax is a good decision for the majority of people.
On my black Tacoma I use p21s Carnauba. It has a lot of depth and a nice wet look.

BTW, be sure to follow the directions on the back of the Back to Black bottle. You shouldn't apply it like you do with silicone tire or interior dressing. Back to Black is like a clear coat for plastic. And you can add a second coat after an hour or so to make it look even better.
Zaino products! When I got my Zaino stuff in the mail, I put on a coat every day for a week, right after work. This week, I'll be busy after work, but you can bet this weekend, my truck will have at least 3 more coats on it! Anal? You decide.
