Yeah the 89 was the last year of the carb thats why you would have to swap intake manifolds so the carb set up would work. I am going to going to the junkyard soon to get 4a-fe head to see what changes need to be made to make the setup work. I am also looking for the shop manuals of all the years of the 4a-f(e) to see if there could possible be a cam swap in there somewhere as well!! I am having a hard time locating all of the manuals so, it would be great if everyone that has a manual could let me know the specs on the cams so I could compile a list and see what years are better than others!! I was also thinking maybe the 7a-fe cams might be a possiblilty!!
