Gen1 86 camry manifold problem looking for suggestions

Look at the part where the manifold connects to the flex fitting

Looks like a pain in the ass to replace, so I was thinking I could U-Clamp a piece of piping to each end...I'm on a tight budget and I'm buying a new car in a couple months anyways....any suggestions?

The bad thing about the break is that it's rusted.

I think if you put a clamp, the pipe will start to fall apart.

Exhaust tape won't hold either.

if you are going to sell it try and use the exhaust tape. it isnt a good fix but it will get you thru a few mounths. you will need to get some of the rust off first or it will not hold at all
