If you're referring to the under-dash vents, then you're in for a long job. The A/C system sits in the main vent next to the heater core, just to the left of the blower motor. To remove the A/C equipment (I hope you've discharged the freon, or you'll have a hell uv a case of lung cancer), you have to unbolt the main vent from the firewall/blower assembly/heater core assembly. This is all under the dash on the passenger's side, and requires a lot of back-twisting work in spaces you can't see. In short: I recommend you just leave it!
