not hard you need 19mm socket, impact gun or else you can't get the strut mount of the strut. spring compressor and lots of free time. it took me and a friend like 4 hrs to do it. and you're going to have to bleed your brakes afterwards so might as well buy a bottle of dot3/4 right now.

To get an idea of what kind of work is involved check out page 52 of the suspendion PDF page found on this link http://www.**********s.com/camry/ as found in the Camry Sticky http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t62501.html

A shop will most likely charge an hour labor per corner. My shop charges 90 bucks an hour.

Theres a secret to not having to bleed the brakes.

Brake lines go through a mount on the strut. Theres a clip (cam clip) that holds the brake line.

1. Remove the cam clip.

2. With a hacksaw blade cut a slit in the mount.

3. Bend the mount with a pair of pliers.

4. Remove brake line.

If you do it this way, you don't open up the brake system. So you don't have to bleed the brakes.

Look at the strut labeled FR (front right) in the pic below. Notice how the mount for the brake line is cut and is bent.
