90 Camry Tuneup questions

Okay sorry for a dumb question but how do i replace my spark Plugs. my dad's 90 cam has 175k miles on it and i think it's time for a tune up(even thou he thinks it's not). and is that all or do i also need to change the PVC valve. just need some steps. and another thing.. how can i make a Cuztom Intake for my GEn 4. what type of Mandrel bent pipes do i need and hoses and filter.

you just take off you spark plug wires by twisting them and pulling them up, then you get spark plug socket; stick it down the hole, put it on the spark plug and turn

I used NGK laser welded platinum plugs when I changed mine... the Denso's I pulled out of mine were oxidized pretty bad. The shop where I bought my plugs also said to change the ignition wires also if that hasn't been done in awhile.... they're pretty cheap anyways. Buy an insulated socket and use a 6in extension. Good Luck.

SOme other things:

Tune-up:

Remove the distributor cap and check the resistance of the terminal inside the cap to the end of the wire. The resistance should not exceed 25 k-Ohms. If it does, you'll need a new cap/wire set. A new distributor rotor is good also.

PCV:
I don't think there's a PCV valve in the 3s-fe
