2nd Generation gen 2 HID headlights

hello everyone,
so im going to be getting an HID kit for my gen2 cause im tired of not being able to see the road. and i was thinking of retrofitting projectors and what not. But when i was thinking about it that is pretty much the easy part. The harder part is the lense. It is made of glass and have lines on it and what not to make the beam pattern differnt. which even if i put projector it would probably still make the light go everywhere. My question is that has anyone ever tried clearing out the light, or know of a way i can grind down the glass, and then polish it. ive done a little research and most people already have plastic housings, and i found a compound that takes scratches out of glass and what not. but i havent really found anyone who has tried this idea. I havent really had time yet, but i have a spare headlight that im going to take apart and try different methods before i do it on the real thing. If there is a way it might not be so hard, cause im not into clearing the whole headlight, just where the projectors are. Well tell me what you guys think.

2nd Generation

HIDs on a gen2 what's the fun in that? I love practically crashing into small animals when taking fast sweepers at 60 mph+ haha j/k if you can figure out how to do it for a relatively cheap price i'd be interested too. stock gen 2 headlights are kinda shitters even w/ silverstars
