1st & 2nd Generation (1983–1986 & 1987-1991)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1983-1986 & 1987-1991.
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
My aunt has a '91 Camry LE that is in MINT condition with 37000 miles on it. She may be forced to sell this car due to health reasons and I am trying to find out what the car is worth. Equipment list is as follows:
4 cyl
automatic w/OD
all leather w/power seat
power:
windows
locks
steering
brakes
sun roof
antena
NON SMOKER
new tires
This car is owned by 'the little old lady from Pasadena'. She had the under-hood felt heat shield replaced at the dealer because the other one was dirty. That is the kind of condition we are talking about. This car was bought in Florida and has spent the last 4 years in Tennessee, ALWAYS garage kept.
Thanks in advance for any input.
Drool...I don't think there are more than 50 or 100 of these kinds of Camrys left in all of Canada at this point, nice find.
As for the value, that can be tricky. It kinda depends on what people are willing to pay. The Kelly Blue Book lists the 1991 LE model in excellent condition (showroom): $3675. Good condition: $3320. Fair: $2880.
Finding a buyer willing to pay prices that high for a 17-year-old car may be difficult, though.

Am I wrong or wasnt the little old lady from pasadena (im assuming thats what he was refering to) a little speed demon who had a heavily modded car?
It depends...the original "little old lady" didn't drive the car at all. The a song was written about her, and yes--she was a street rodder. I wonder which one he was referring to? lol
