USA 1989 camry ecu swap

Hi people, i have a 1989 camry 3sfe with auto trans and as it turns out im happy with my motor. my suspension is really what im proud of. it s not racing till you put turns in it. Thing is my car tops out at about 110-111mph. now the 3sfe in the 1989 camry will go to 6000rpm but you gotta push it, hard. I have a tercel too and i found that you can swap the ecu from a 3ee to a 5efe plug and play style. now as you may know already the celica from the same year as my camry has the 3sfe as an option. However im sure it has a totaly diffrent fuel curve that might be more aggressive. What i wanna know is does any one have a clue as to weather or not the swap is plug and play? By the way if you power shift the auto trans you can hold out to 6k in every gear but you should shift at 5.5k theres really no power after 5k but im going to fix that in due time. Last but not least since i have a auto that means i need a auto celica computer? or is the trany self contained?
any answers or comments?
