2nd Generation door and side trim removal

i was thinking about painting my black side trim to blend in with my 91 camry ..

..instead of having these huge black things that are for old people so they dont damage their doors by hitting them on trees and such....

ANY WHO to the point,

what is holding the side trim on? (also even across the front of the car)

cause ive seen cars where it is held on by like a glue or tape and leaves this really bad residue, and i only want to paint these if they can be removed and put back on without much trouble

i looked in my chilton and there is something that resembles it in the picture

its called a "front door belt moulding" and it seems to have clips..

so has anyone removed their trim and knows ?

cause ive removed my bottom trim to do some fg/bondo work on some rust, and that is hald together with clips and 2 screws on each end...

thanks for any help,
-mark

i know the bottom ones are clipped.. i had removed those before to do some rust owrk..

so i peeked under the trim on the doors and (at least the sides) are double stick

but the ones on the front bumper at least are clipped...

so im still thinking about attempting to paint the side trim..

heres a pic of the trims i know so far just for reference so you know what im talking about
