Only thing i would do to them is add spots for some 6.5" speakers.

get custom made carbon fiber panels for your car. it might cost some $$$ but it will be lighter than fiber glass and... you can paint CF to a nice glossy colour. Pluss CF has a lot more strength than fiber glass would.

Personally, I think its a terrible idea to do full fiberglass or cf panels.

If you get in a wreck, the panel will crack and splinter and there's a good chance its gonna crack and spinter into YOU!

that's a pretty good point, fibre glass does shatter. and carbon fiber does as well.

a custom roll cage?!? wtf? are you planning on doing' some NASCAR? you don't need a roll cage unless you're expecting to do some stupid crap with your car on the street that will flip it. and cloth mats and a roll cage won't stop fibre glass from splintering all over the place if you were in an accident. if you're planning on racing your car, dont put fibre glass on your internal panels... remove your door panels to just the bare metal door. if you're trying to pimp your ride out... don't put a roll cage in it!

another alternative to fibre glass that wouldnt splinter is plastic tho... and you can paint plastic to a high gloss shine.

im planning on making it a wicked ride all around and the roll cage is for added stability and just in case protection... i live in a place where the roads are very curvy and rough so at high speeds this would help with body sway and as a precaution... i like having looks but i go with speed and handling before i do anything else..... after i get everything prepared inside and out i can then go get an engine swap..

sry for the late reply, but i would practice using fleece (high in polyester) and then applying the resnin to that.

it is very popular especially with sound systems.

almost all of the really glossy sound systems now adays use this fleecing

but preactice on something other than the door panel

*note* you will need to be goo and patient with sanding in this. but again practice.

*painting wise get a nice auto paint and clearcoat it.

using the fleece especially has alot of strength. tho im not sure on the crash test ratings..

like i said, practice, and with that practice youll get an idea of how it looks.

i wish you luck, and cant wait to see what the result is in the future.

another thing I have found is when people say "carbon fiber" what they mean is fiberglass with a thin carbon fiber shell.
