I'm thinking of dropping in a 3sgte engine into my 91 camry, which currently has the (stock)3sfe engine in it.

The stock 3sfe has around 135hp, right? How much hp would the 3sgte give me?

Also, is the 3sgte just a 16 valve 2.0 with a turbo?

3S-FE is rated at 115hp.

JDM 3S-GTEs are anywhere from 225hp to about 260hp, depending on the generation.

Yes, but theres differences between it and a 3S-FE.

3S-GTE has a different cylinder head (bigger ports, wider valve angle, etc..), forged internals, lower compression ratio, turbocharged, etc...
