FSM question; 1989 vs. 1990

Hello,

I own a 1989 Toyota Camry LE, 4-cylinder, front wheel dive car.

I'm thinking about buying a FSM. I can buy the 1989 or the 1990 version. It looks like the 1989 version is one book and the 1990 version is two books. Other than that, I'm not sure what other differences there might be. Since the 1990 version has two books I'm wondering if it is more detailed or better than the 1989 version?

Will the 1989 version have info that is specific to my car that the 1990 version does not have? Which one should I buy?

YES!!! I downloaded the 1990 FSM in PDF and it is very nice and FREE. I guess I'm old fassioned because I want a book

Thanks,

Craig

both should have 2 books - one for body/mechanical and another just for electrical. You could get either year and it'd pretty much be the same.

Both years are mechanically the same, so i'd say they just split them up for easy of reading and location. Get whichever one you prefer. Personally, i like the split books, easier to read/handle.
