Tire suggestion?

After autocrossing my camry this past weekend, I feel the need to get a set of tires that I use for just this activity so that I don't wear down my every day tire tread too fast. I want to get a tire that will give me good cornering and traction for autocross. Any suggestions on what tire to get for my camry?

how much you wanna spend? if your just starting, and dont want to spend a lot, check out the local autox club and see if anyone has a set of used tires they want to unload. If youve got money to burn, name how much and we'll hook you up.

^dont recommend all-seasons for auto-x, thats a bad idea.

Look on TireRack for Kumho VictoRacers, or ECSTA's V700, real track tires are you're best bet if you are gonna be serious about it. Like I said though, check out your local autox chapter's website and see if they have a forsale forum. lots of guys will unload a set of tires at the end of the season (which is approaching). Pick those up and a set of steelies and youll be good to go.

Good luck Autoxing a Gen2, not exactly the best choice in stock form, but youll have fun none the less.
