Two questions about my second gen

They're probably both stupid, but I subsrcibe to the theory that there are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

First, how do I disconnect the seatbelt from the part that automatically travels over you when you start the car. On my other early 90's junk, all you do is unclip it. It's obvious. Not on this car. BTW, it's a 91 DX

Second, how do I lower the headliner to perform maintenance on my moonroof?

Thanks
Dale

Seatbelts

See the round plastic circle on the piece at the top of the belt right next to the track?
pop that off, and there's a bolt--something like 17mm or so
that's all.

The seatbelt computer is underneath the thing between the seats where the emergency brake is. If you unplug it, the seatbelt won't go back and forth, and the seatbelt bell won't ding.

I think if you unplug the seatbelt computer, the seatbelt will still lock--but don't trust me, I'd test it in a vacant parking lot.

oh, I reread your post -- seatbelt must be in the way getting the headliner down.
not sure about your headliner--I got a base model w/no moonroof--probably a lot different.
