Troubleshooting

My 91 camry (3sfe, 5spd) is flooding, and i'm trying to eliminate some possible causes.
If one or more of my sensors are bad, and i reset the computer by unhooking the battery and then start it, it should run somewhat better on the original settings in the computer, right?

Are you sure it is flooding or is it just running rough? Is the check engine light on? A few things to check. Timing, cold start injector leaking, defective cold start injector timing circuit (not turning off injector), fuel pressure too high (fuel pressure regulator) and leaking fuel injectors. Depending on the bad sensor, it might put the ECU into some kind of middle of the road operational mode.

EFi doesnt flood, its not a carberator. Unhooking the battery and leaving it for a while will reset it, the computer learns your driving habits and adapts to them, reset it and it goes back to default, but it wont effect a bad sensor.

describe the symtoms a bit more.
