starter problem

well i installed a rebuilt starter a few months ago runs perfect till recently. turn the key nothing, one time i turned the key no crank but left it in the start position with no crank about 15 sec latter it cranks. Confused as hell

get a test lite out and see if it lites on the small blade terminal when someone turns the key to crank, if it does simply jump the big hot post to the small blade, it better crank, check battery terminals also
