You need a 9004 bulb with the same wattage as your stock bulbs.
Go to your local AutoZone/Canadian Tire or whatever... I dunno where the hell Evansville is, but anyways, go to their bulbs section and check out some of the "cool blue" bulbs they offer. They technically aren't brighter, but give the illusion of being brighter because of their bluish tint.
Sylvania Silverstars are pretty good, and many of us on here including myself have them. They produce a slightly yellowish light, but when you look at the car, they look white, not blue or yellow.
I also have Eurolite Blue "Xenon" bulbs in my dad's Echo. We've had them since 2004, and they're great. They have a nice blue-ish tint to them.
