Idle issues

89 4cly camry

Car idles high when cold, nearly 2k rpm, when it warms up it drops to about 900-1000, which im told is a tad high too, although it seems to run a bit rough at 900, but smooths out around 1100.

Which sensor do i need to replace and where is it located?

^ To expand on what Fred said, which didnt make too much sense,
Clean up the throttle body and IAC (which is on the throttle body) and then locate a small rubber cap on the top of the throttle body. When you remove it you will see a screw, which you can use to adjust the idle speed. After you get it correct, dab a bit of nail polish on the edge of it to stop it from loosening off agian.

Faulty EGR valves often trigger the CEL, but it's a good place to start.

No idle adjustment on the V6...all is controlled by the ECU.
You can cheat however and adjust the stop screw to hole the throttle open...but its not really the right way.
