screwdriver pries them off but you are left with the holes, better left alone

Some Camrys have the badges just glued to the finish, no mouting holes. You can check by looking on the backside of the deck with a flashlight, before you pry them off. Since you plan on painting the car you can fill the holes in before the re-paint.

Apply heat using a heat gun or hair dryer and they will come off nicely. With the glue hot you can clean it up nicely too with some metho or low grade thinners. But your's might have holes in the lid that will need to be patched. Some had holes..some didnt.

Toyota Camry will pop off, but i bet the LE is glued on

the Toyota camry part will leave you with 4 small holes to fill, the LE part will leave you with a sticky mess to scrape off. Just do like everyone already said, pry the left side off with a screwdriver, and heat up the LE part with a heat gun and pull it off.

btw - are you receiving signals from mars on that antenna or what??

Ah, well both of mine "Toyota Camry" and "V6" had glue behind em. The Toyota Camry part had 4 holes as Tommy said.
