Hey so I want to update my sound system in my car and I’m wondering, did any gen 2 Camry’s have speakers in the door? Or is there any way to easily mount some 5 1/4 components in the door pannel with the pocet in it?

It can be done, and its not that hard if you have basic tools you can do it. If you can wait till springs, Im thinking about doing some on special order basis for TN'er's

Ok, that looks good. But did yours have the pockets in the doors? How hard is it to take the pockets off? If i were to take it off, what would be under the pocket? more carpet?

cant imagine a way to do it and retain the pocket. you probably wont miss it.

the pocket comes off easy, just held on with some plastic rivets.
