I have a Camry 1990 LE V6. When the car gets close to normal operating temperature in high gear (when the car starts pulling) the engine starts shuddering and won't gain any speed. I've replaced spark plugs/wires, checked the cold start injector, and I don't know what else to try. The car runs fine at any other time.

I have a Haynes manual that doesn't answer my question. It only says it could be in the drive axles, but I think it's an engine problem.

Any ideas?

Your problem could be with the fuel filter or air filter if you already changed the spark plugs and wires. These will throw off the ECM and could be the source of your shudder in high gear due to the change in the fuel and air mixture to compensate for the bad circulation. Give those two a try since they should be replaced now and then anyway.

Other than that I'm not sure what your problem is because I can't see what exactly it does and where the problem.
