Gen1 How to get them Codes once the CEL is on

Hey everyone, my CEL is on and I remember a post that showed you how retreive the codes when the Check engine Light came on. Can somoene point me in that direction. My camry is a 1995 so I think its an OBD I. Anyone know of any cheap code readers I could buy?
Thanks

You have a Gen 3 Camry. This forum is the Gen 1&2 place.

Here is a link to service manuals.

Look for the link that says "eg1.pdf"

Scroll down to page number 296, and take it from there.

If OBD I, the system has a built-in code readout via LED.
