2nd Generation Question

Hello again, Do you know the noise when you unlock your doors? If you press is it again unlock it doesnt unlock the doors but makes the noise. I am having a problem, sometimes when I hear that noise when I am driving down the noise. Also another problem I am having is when I get into the the 4500k to 6000k I hear a noise like zzzzz (yes it is a 5 speed). I think it is maybe something to do with my exhaust but don't know? I read somewhere that it might be somthing else but I can not remember what they said that it was called but not sure.

Ok, well unlock your doors ok. sit in your car and just push the unlock button twice and u should be able to hear that noise. I sometimes get that while driving but nobody is pushing the button. just does it on its own. also when i hit 4500k to 6000k its this not so loud noise. trying to think of the word that would describe it. Maybe sounds like keys are shaking really fast kinda? not sure

Sounds like a relay or a solenoid for the windows is shorting...is that sound coming from under the dash?

ANd where is the other sound coming from (the shaking keys thing)? The engine? The speedometer?

it's funny you bring up "keys shaking thing", cause I get that noise, but my keys are not making it.....what is that odd noise??!?!?!???

The noise for the door unlocking it is coming from the dash upfront. And the noise is coming from the engine I think. I am pretty sure. Yea IvanHoe, the key shaking is not the keys its from your engine I think or exhaust. I don't know I gotta take her in today because I was low on engine coolant and I started my car today and It is very cold where I live, I started it and let it run for 10 mins and the oil temperature was saying that it was up to normal. The other day it took a while and also the heat was cold air. It has to be the coolant so I am going to get it flushed today.

If you are not getting heat, a coolant flush will not help.

i was not getting as much as I was before and it was cold. It is all good now. I found out that I may want to consider buying lower control arms thats what the certified tech said.
