2nd Generation Axles broke... what are my other choices?

mine is a 4cyl 5spd. 3sfe. middle piece on passenger side (2 piece) nuts/bolts flew off?...i was wondering of my other choices.. probably an oem upgrade? something like celica or v6 camry axles (2nd and 3rd gen)? if not, will 4cyl auto axles work? i would perfer something alittle stronger this time. axles been going out once in a while on this 5spd 4cyl.

Your axles shouldnt be wearing out so fast, perhaps you have another problem that's causing them to wear out prematurely.
Ive never had an issue with the axles on either one of my 5 speeds in that respect.
And you can only use the part that is specificaly designed for your model

Whoever replaced the driveaxle last time did NOT torque those bolts onto the half-shaft properly. I replaced the one on my Camry almost five years ago and they've never loosened off a bit.

As for your constant driveaxle problems: are you using white-box reman parts, or used parts from the scrap yard?

yes it looks like they didnt torque the bolts down. it also damage the axle when it fell off.

just to let everyone know, celica uses same axles. i pulled off a celica st axle and bolts right up.
