87 Camry. About $1600US including body work of half dozen golf ball dings, a little rust around windshield and fix tear in rear bumber. New trim on top of windshield and then replace it when it cracked. Painted factory silver and high quality clearcoat. Came out beautiful.
If you're handy at all, try doing it yourself. I took a community education class in auto body repair and have learned a ton. My class cost $95 for 8 weeks and included the use of a paint bay at the local high school.
i just had my gen 2 painted with body work for $2000 cdn...new fenders,all 4 doors,rear fender well(2), rear bumper .
Holy crud, that's a pretty good price! I'm gonna be needing the rear wheel wells welded, and for that price maybe I won't do it myself...
Did they bodyfill the rust spots, or did they weld on repair panels for the rear? I want to keep my old Silver Bullet for another 4 or 5 years, so bondo won't do it.

Honda my A$$, you just can't kill a Yota...
they used new panels for the rear wheel wells, the dude did a pretty good job...they even molded back under my rear left tail, had a hole there. only issues i have is a very rusted suspension.

That's awesome...what's the name of the shop? I still visit my family in Toronto a few times a year, so maybe I'll give'em a call sometime. That's a good price for a body job including welding.

I didn't get a quote because I was going to do the welding myself. But for a measly $2K I'd rather save myself the labour--it takes a really long time to weld thin sheet metal. Too much juice and you either ripple the panel or blow holes right through the metal; too little juice and the weld won't take.
