What's happened to make you think the relay is gone? If you're getting the warning light coming on in the instrument cluster, replace the little yellow electrical box located behind the driver's side wheel well in the trunk. When they malfunction the warning light will stay on, even if the lights are all good...

The taillight relay is under the dash near the driver's left foot. You'll probably have to remove the kick panel and trim to get at it.

the relay is good, also the lamp failure sensor(yellow box)...i have a short somewhere, i changed the two tail light assembly on the trunk lid...it worked fine for about 15 mins and the failure light was on again, no brake light on right trunk lid side.
got to find the problem.

Try following the wiring along the inside of the trunk lid, and down to the main harness...often there's wear on them from stuff rubbing...

I can go see them later this week when I have time, but they want $20 for it and it's got some rust patches on it (no rust holes though). You still want it if they've still got it?

I'm glad your problem is fixed...I had the same issue awhile back.

As for the strut brace, I can bring it down this summer when I visit my family (in Toronto). But I would need to know you'll want it so I'm not out the $20...
