Ran across THIS SITE Check out this guys pics of his 1989 LE when it was brand new.
Be sure to click the "NEXT" button in the upper right corner to scroll thru his pics. He's got 3 nice pics of the car and one of his sticker, which is pretty rare to see.
Dang car stickered for over $18k when it was new!
Wow...the guy clearly loves his vehicles. $18,000 was a lot of cash back in '89...I think I'll try to make mine look like that this year (tuition allowing).
He had a pretty damn nice V6 gen3 as well. Too bad it was an auto...

Honda my A$$, you just can't kill a Yota...
Yeah, that was a TON of money back in that day for a car. Can't see it in the pic, but on the sticker it shows $700 for a power sunroof. That car was pretty much fully loaded. I'd like to CarFax the VIN and see if it's still active.
Yeah, too bad it would cost so damned much to restore that "fresh from the factory" feel. I would have to replace every bushing on my suspension, for a start...

LOL.... You need to come out to California if you think she's hot.

LOL! Charlie, I just got back from there last month. I was in San Diego for a week while working at the Toyota Tacoma plant in Baja. I fell in love about 7 times before I even got out of the airport.
I love the estimated yearly fuel cost on that window sticker... $527.

My car still has that "fresh from the factory feel" with the exception of the brakes. Car looks and feels new otherwise... everything's pretty much mint on my car.

That's extremely rare for a car of that age in the Detroit area. Wayne/Oakland/Macomb/Genesee counties definately like their road salt.
Yeah, and my experiences on the roads in that area (both on the Detroit and the Windsor sides of the border) were rough--lots'o potholes to ruin that smooth-riding suspension.

In terms of that, the best vehicle I ever owned up there was a ZR2 Blazer. That was one of the only vehicles I owned that you could hit a pothole and not feel like you were tearing up the suspension.
