Not sure if it is a good idea to ship a sunroof, but there are a few around here by me. If you were interested I could work a deal out with you.
I had the same problem happen to me, but only one side broke. I ended up taking 6 hours to fix. That was uninstalling, junkyard shopping, and reinstalling. But at the time it only cost me $10 to get the new parts. You know as I'm typing this I'm trying to remember if I got the whole thing? I think I reused my glass and just got new outer tracks and cables. I forget if they were just screwed to the center section where the motor sits. Anyway now this I think about it I'm sure I just bought the tracks and cables. And that would be easy to ship.
But it was very easy, once you take out a few bolts, the sunroof can be closed, pushed out and up and then believe it or not it is just velcroed in. If you want more info on it just let me know I could take a few pictures of my '99 to point out what I'm talking about and give you the just of it.
