'90 Camry Blinker

When you turn the blinker to the right, it's good. When you turn it to the left, it makes a staticy buzzing noise unless you nudge it just a bit up. The hazards work fine with no noise. I'm assuming the handle/switch needs to be replaced. Does that sound accurate?

The electrical contacts in the switch may just need cleaning. Or perhaps a little lubricant on the arm mechanism.

I would agree, I had this problem once. Took the assembly apart and cleaned with contact cleaner. The parts the slide against each other when the turn signal wand is moved slightly arc (electrically) when this is done enough it builds up carbon deposits, over time snow balling the effect.

Do you have to remove the steering wheel to remove the combo switch? Maybe I should just spray some electrical component cleaner in there before I start disassembling?

The switch is on the way out inside the column....it's a common issue

BTW, I found out about it myself a month ago by using the search option.....I hear it works pretty good
