Can anyone identify this part? I know it came from behind the dash of a 1990 Camry Le, but can't find out what the part number comes back from..The part number is 077300-1481Its a palm sized black plastic box with 2 electrical connections on the back. John

I'm not sure exactlly since I never had to replace any switches or relays behind the dash. If you can try to state a more exact location of where behind the dash and if the link I posted is what you are talking about then someone else may be able to help you identify it.
Yup...thats the one...couldn't post a picture....stupid security measures on this work computer restricts what I can do....It was located directly behind and to the left of the heater control assembly in the 90 Camry. When I got it, I figured....well....it's there...it's only 2 screws.....might as well get it...but not sure what it's for...it was for a Camry with the electronic heater controls...maybe one of the relays for that??
Judging from that exploded wiring pic, it looks like an "Air Conditioning System Amplifier"... does your car have A/C?

Honda my A$$, you just can't kill a Yota...
I've tried calling Toyota about it already, no luck...they say that the part is so old that they 'can't' pull it off the computer....can't or won't anyway...
I sent a email to Denso about it, just waiting for a reply...
