the idle never goes down now and when I step on the gas, it stalls badly. It definetely smells like its running rich since after it sits for a few hours it sputters and dies like a bitch. I replaced my ISC, cold start injector, no vaccum leaks, cleaned out EGR valve. New plugs, wires cap and rotor button.
I guess its on to the coolant temp sensor and AFM.
can anybody post up a pic of the coolant temp sensor please.
did you replace the cold start injector or clean it? try unplugging the connector and start it up.
A bad CSI will leak when unplugged, it just won't have the start-up spray. Mine was bad, but didn't cause fast idle, only difficult starting after sitting a few hours, from the constant drip of gas into the intake.

HomeGrown, what do you mean when it will leak when unplugged? From the gasket or the nozzle itself? I think I might have a bad CSI so when I took it out and cranked the engine, I was looking for a spray but didn't see anything.
Tested the CSI and resistance seems normal. I got a CSI time switch from a yard and the plugs are different . Mines are rectangular and the one from the yard is rounder. Hope the splicing works.
well, today I unplugged my CSI and it helped my problem, it doesn't sputter on startup and idles down a lot lot quicker, and stays around a normal idle. I'll replace my CTS and see if that does anything
i guess driving without the CSI plugged in is alright
could the timing or plugs/wires be my problem, the new coolant temp sensor with the metal prong underneath the housing didn't do anything at all. Maybe my AFM or computer? Im just tired of stepping on the gas or shifting and the car jerking badly like its stalling severly.
